Professor Joseph Osafo has castigated the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) over their long silence in delivering a schedule for Ghanaians to guide them in their daily living with regard to the regular power cuts.
Many communities across the nation have been enduring darkness over days to weeks due to the irregular electricity supply.
The citizens have bitterly complained about the impact of the actions of the ECG as the company refuses to draw a timetable and communicate relevant information to guide them.
Addressing the issue on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" morning show, Prof. Joseph Osafo, a Senior Psychologist, bemoaned his experience with ECG taking away his lights and the sufferings of Ghanaians under the current "dumsor".
He described the attitude of the electricity supplier as "gross disrespect", wondering why they are seemingly taking delight in mistreating the citizens.
"I think it's an abuse of dignity. It's disrespect, gross disrespect...This may not be in size as it happened in the past but rather the silence, the disrespect to communicate with people, I mean this is legendary," he scolded ECG.
