Professor Joseph Osafo has castigated the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) over their long silence in delivering a schedule for Ghanaians to guide them in their daily living with regard to the regular power cuts.
Many communities across the nation have been enduring darkness over days to weeks due to the irregular electricity supply.
The citizens have bitterly complained about the impact of the actions of the ECG as the company refuses to draw a timetable and communicate relevant information to guide them.
Addressing the issue on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" morning show, Prof. Joseph Osafo, a Senior Psychologist, bemoaned his experience with ECG taking away his lights and the sufferings of Ghanaians under the current "dumsor".
He described the attitude of the electricity supplier as "gross disrespect", wondering why they are seemingly taking delight in mistreating the citizens.
"I think it's an abuse of dignity. It's disrespect, gross disrespect...This may not be in size as it happened in the past but rather the silence, the disrespect to communicate with people, I mean this is legendary," he scolded ECG.

Massa, NPP Government is not serious and they take the Ghanaian for granted as if they themselves have given up hope of "breaking the 8" why are they such liars and then they have the audacity to minimize the dumsor issue as well by comparing it to 2012. Look in 2012, compared to 2024, thanks to Bawumia, everything has moved digital, thus it is an existential crisis when electricity which powers the internet is off. In other words the impact of dumsor now is more than ever very critical due to the digitization agenda by Bawumia. As if that is not enough, Bawumia now wants Ghanaian buses to be charged by electricity when electricity is not even stable, these guys are not serious!!
a good thing. But Was Prof in this country or he just returned?? Indeed... No dumsor is a good thing. And rightly so, it is an abuse of our dignity. It has always been and will always be. So equally was the 4 inhumane yrs. And legendary......Come again Prof.
