Is the Presbyterian Church of Ghana a Peace FM Church, or is it an NPP Church? Did the church consider how he handled national political issues during the NDC Administration and how he handles them under the NPP Administration? Did the Church consider his unjust hypocrisy and favouritism and bias towards the NPP while he was clearly critical of the NDC even if deserved? Look at the level of unbridled and never before reached levels of corruption that the nation has never reached and the church has been relatively quiet on. Even the president's adultery and fornication did not receive any clear condemnation. Where is the balance? Where are the Nathans? The leadership of our church has been taking us into biased politics perceived on the side of the NPP. Compared with Prof Martey who criticised rightly because things were wrong, this current Presby leadership have absolutely no courage to speak against what is obviously wrong. This is ungodly and unacceptable.
Look, these awards in the midst of high level corruption are baseless. Ghana has become a very rotten country and the media, except CITI FM are silent about the corruption that has deprived the citizens of meaningful development. Apart from citi tv/fm and to some extent TV3 it seems the rest are ill-equipped to fight the canker! Dirty streets, lawlessness by people in power, arrogance, greed, wickedness have taken over brotherliness, genuine love for one another, patriotism, integrity, truth and selfless service to our country. In a country where 70% of population are Christians and nearly 27% are Muslims one wonders the values these two religions teach their followers. 85% of prison inmates are the youth with ages ranging between 20 and 35 whilst the real criminals and wreckers of the nation are walking free! The church has failed and so has islam and any other religion in transforming a country blessed with so many natural resources and talented citizens. Churches welcoming corrupt politicians into the pulpits and accepting large offerings which are the proceeds of corruption. This country needs deep cleaning!
