Monday, September 21, 2009 has been declared a statutory public holiday, according to a press statement signed by Cletus Avoka, Minister for the Interior.
The day, according to the release would mark the celebration of the Eid-Ul-Fitr festival by the Muslims and also commemorate the birth of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, known as the Founders Day.
