The Central Regional Communications Director of the ruling National Democratic Congress, Bernard Allotey Jacobs, says no Ghanaian is facing any form of hardship under President John Evans Atta Mills Better Ghana.
In the opinion of the educated fisherman, the numerous claims and concerns raised by Ghanaians on daily basis, which are also backed by statistics, as to the rising cost of living, price hikes of food stuffs on the market, the crippling costs of doing business, among others, are mere fabrications by the opposition New Patriotic Party. There is no Ghanaian who is complaining of hunger or suffering in Ghana today; its all a lie created by the NPP to throw dust into the eyes of Ghanaians, he stressed.
According to him, complaints of hardship and suffering under the Mills administration are lies concocted by the NPP to cripple governments efforts of fulfilling its Better Ghana Agenda promise, adding that the complaints are also borne out of the NPPs desperation to return to power.
Speaking on multi TV show last Wednesday when the 2012 budget statement was the topic of discussion, Allotey Jacobs, who is a board Member of the electricity Company of Ghana, stated that the opposition was doing all it could to frustrate the NDC government even when the party undoubtedly is doing well. The Mills-led administration is confident of fulfilling all its promises by the end of its eight year term, he said, adding: what the NDC has done in three years is credit worthy and Ghanaians appreciate them.
