Contentious Wereko Brobby has in unambiguous terms stated that he wished the New Patriotic Party had deployed the services of someone like the General Secretary for the National Democratic Congress, Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia, to testify on behalf of the party in the ongoing Supreme Court trial.
The former Chief Executive of Ghana's Volta River Authority noted in an interview with Okay FM that judging from the way the star witness for the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Bawumia had presented their case in court, it could easily be identified that his contributions were abysmal.
He urged that the likes of Matthew Opoku Prempeh or Hon. Dan Botwe should have occupied the witness box.
He reiterated that unlike Asiedu Nketia, Dr. Bawumia never attended IPAC meetings on behalf of the party.
Asiedu Nketias evidence was solid and I wish we (NPP) had some like him, he noted.
Mr. Wereko Brobby however had words of comfort for members of the New Patriotic Party as he urged them to work collectively and look beyond the electoral defeat they suffered in 2012.
