Editor-in-Chief of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr., has called on members and leadership of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) to unite and swiftly nip whatever internal wranglings unfolding in the bud.
Speaking on Peace FM on Kokrokoo, Mr. Pratt bemoaned the infightings and constant bickering in the party.
According to him, the infightings in the NPP may spell doom for the major opposition party's fortunes in the general elections, come 2016.
He expressed worry over the unsavory remarks and invectives used by some members and leaders of the party against one another and blamed the leadership for the current impasse in the party.
Alluding to some popular statements made by some leaders of the NPP on the airwaves suggesting that "no Nana Addo, no NPP" or without Mr. Alan Kyeremateng, the NPP is bound to fail in its Presidential contest; he insisted that none of the leaders' interest should override the party.
"Who is bigger than the party?" he asked.
Mr. Pratt, in his submissions, warned the NPP to desist from any sort of backbiting and instead with one accord, value the party above individual or personal interest.
