Two presidential hopefuls within the New Patriotic Party, Mr Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen and Mr Francis Addai Nimoh, Member of Parliament for Mampong have submitted their nomination forms to contest the presidential primary of the party slated for December 6, 2014.
They both submitted their documents Thursday morning at the party�s headquarters ahead of the Sunday July 6, 2014 deadline.
With the submission of the forms the two would move to the next stage of the contest, which is vetting.
Other interested presidential hopefuls who have also picked nomination forms but are yet to submit them are Mr Joe Ghartey, Member of Parliament for Essikado-Ketan, former MP for Offinso North, Dr Kofi Konadu Apraku, MP for Assuogyaman, Mr Kofi Osei Ameyaw, the 2008 and 2012 flag bearer of the NPP, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and former Information Minister, Mr Stephen Asamoah Boateng.
The aspirants paid GHc10,000 for picking the nomination forms.
The filing of the forms is attracting a fee of GHc75,000.
