Kwesi Pratt Jnr., Editor-in-Chief of the Insight newspaper, has commended Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mohammed Ahmed Alhassan for his hard work Wednesday evening.
Kwesi Pratt Jnr. lauded the efforts of the IGP for deploying police personnel to the filling station explosion scene at Circle to help in the rescue operation.
Scores of Police personnel, the Ghana Fire Service and some civilians thronged Circle where a GOIL filling station which was caught up in flames was sited to control the situation.
The security agencies worked till the wee hours of the next day to rescue lives that were trapped in the explosion.
Speaking to host Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM's "kokrokoo" programme, Mr. Pratt showered praises on the IGP stating emphatically that what the "Inspector General of Police has done, he deserves commendation.”
He also commended the security forces for staying overnight to help in the rescue efforts.
