The journey to be Ghana’s next president may have ended for NDC’s George Boateng as the party has refused to sell out the November 7th Presidential Nomination Form to him.
Peacefmonline.com gathered that – the reason given to the beleaguered presidential candidate was that – “Johnson Asiedu Nketia was busy”
George who was hoping to pick the original nomination form at the party’s headquarters after picking a drafted one was denied access to see the General Secretary, Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia – the only person who can sell the forms to him.
This left George Boateng feeling stranded at the party’s office Tuesday afternoon - and expressed disappointment by the conduct of party officials.
“They told me the General Secretary is in a meeting so I should come tomorrow but I know they don’t want me to challenge Mahama,” he told journalists.
