Founder and Leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Madam Akua Donkor has been asked to pick her presidential nomination form by her party National Executives ahead of their June 5, 2016 National Delegates Congress.
The congress would be held at the Kumasi Cultural Central – a statement signed by the General Secretary of the party stated.
According to sources, the party’s National Executives for some reasons have sidelined Madam Akua Donkor in their preparation for the congress, but only giving her the opportunity to pick a nomination form to reinstate her position as the party’s flagbearer for the 2016 election.
The Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) presidential forms goes for a whooping GHC15, 000 according to the party’s Chief Scribe, Agyenim Boateng.
Information gathered by Peacefmonline.com indicates that no member of the GFP is interested in the position – so therefore the farmer cum politician will be forced to pay the amount or the party will not present any candidate for November 7 elections.
