General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress, Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia today said the party is ready for the 2016 election battle which is 75 days away.
He made the statement at Wa today where the party is organising a training workshop for the Regional Election Task Force and Campaign team.
It is on the theme "Practicalising the agenda 79% votes for President Mahamah in the Upper West region and winning all the 11 parliamentary seats in the region.
Currently the party occupies ten out of the eleven parliamentary seats of the region.
Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia believes the training will help equip the participants to work towards a resounding victory for the party on December 7th.
He also spoke about the need for peace before, during and after the election.
