Ghanaian politicians must desist from verbal abuse against one another as activities towards the 2016 election intensify, Member of Parliament (MP) for Ablekuma South, Fritz Baffour has cautioned.
The Former Minister of Information has challenged his colleagues to focus on issues as insults do not bring about any meaningful results.
Some members and supporters of some political parties have in recent times been involved in hurling vitriol at both President John Dramani Mahama and the main opposition leader Nana Akufo-Addo in a bid to discredit them for political gain, a trend many political scientists have identified as worrying.
Mr Baffour who took to his Facebook wall on Monday, October 31, to express his displeasure indicated that: “Parliament in Ghana takes a break for a month to give sitting members an opportunity to do their last-minute campaigning before the national elections in December, though I am not on the ballot papers by choice, I shall be doing my intense bit for my party to retain power. In doing so, I resolve not to malign, insult or cast aspersions at our political rivals as I believe that is a road to nowhere”.
He was of the view that the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) “has a solid track record that we can dwell on so it is unnecessary for one to be negative and disparaging”.

I was surprised to hear J D Mahama condemning Nana Addo's one district one factory message as not feasible. Surprised in the sense that He Mahama did not have any message at all. He didn't promised or say anything but only said Nana cannot implement what he had promised. So Ghanaians what is the meaning of this?
Fritz is neither npp,he came to politics to change certain pattern but now feels that is how the game is. It's a dirty game n he doesn't belong there. I respect him so much. ABLEKUMA south was the easiest way he could pass through NDC to politics.if he was in ablekuma north he would have still entered politics but through de npp.all he wanted was to be in politics to bring dignity but de pigs won't forsake muddy grounds for a swimming pool. Fritz please try again in npp. It will be fulfilling.
Tel ur people and advise them
LORDINA MAHAMA WAS FIRST CLASS ***barred word*** AT NKORANZA. SHE HAD SERIOUS GONO DURING HER PROSTITUTION AND WAS SENT TO BOLE FOR TREATMENT. THAT WAS WHERE SHE MET HER HUSBAND JONH MAHAMA. YOU CAN EVEN SEE FROM HOW LORDINA MAHAMA WALKS. IF YOU LIVE IN A GLASS HOUSE , DON'T THROW STONES
Deep down the heart of Fritz Baffour, he is not NDC I know him very well
