The GCPP Parliamentary candidate for Klottey Korle constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Joshua Kofi Brient Rockson has officially withdrawn his candidature and thrown his weight behind frontrunner, Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings of the NDC.
In a statement read at a press conference in Accra on Tuesday, Rockson said:
“I have come to this conclusion due to [the] numerous development projects Dr. Rawlings has secured for the people of Klottey Korle.
“She is one politician who speaks on issues and has never attacked any political opponent since she began her campaign in this constituency. The NDC is blessed to have such a candidate to lead them; I can see clearly that victory awaits her on December 7,” Rockson stated.
Meanwhile Rockson who urged all his supporters to support Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings has official submitted a letter to the Electoral Commission to withdraw his candidature.
Dr. Rawlings has meanwhile welcomed Rockson’s support. In a short response she thanked the former GCPP candidate for his support and called on all in the Klottey Korle constituency do join forces to achieve a resounding victory on December 7.
“Together, we build,” she stated.

Hoooooo!!!! I can't help laughing. with only three confused supporters, what weight do you have to throw behind Osu Lagarta? Mr. former aspiring MP... you are just one of the greedy bastards who wants some money to chop from the lady hence your needless support. Funny days ahead.
But the entire GCPP have merged with the NDC already. This is no news . Their prez. candidate Henry Nartey is all over with the NDC .
