Nana Ofori Owusu has spurred the disqualified Presidential aspirant of the Democratic People's Party (DPP), Thomas Nuako Ward-Brew to carry on with his law suit against the Electoral Commission (EC).
Mr. Ward-Brew has filed an application at the Supreme Court praying the court to order the EC to postpone the December 7 elections.
He further prays the court to instruct the EC to give him the opportunity to do the necessary corrections on his nomination forms to qualify him for the Presidential race.
Commenting on Mr. Ward-Brew's law suit, the Parliamentary candidate for Efutu, Nana Ofori Owusu encouraged the disqualified candidate to "fight for mother Ghana".
According to him, the Progressive People's Party (PPP) has set the pace for him and others who want to seek redress on some anomalies associated with the EC's disqualification.
“We wish you good luck. Fight for your right. Fight the power. PPP, we have done our part and open the door for everyone. This is a fight for mother Ghana. So, if you have the opportunity to fight for mother Ghana, you have your right. I can’t stop your right, your constitutional right to also seek redress if you think something is not going on right for you.”
