Acting General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party [NPP], John Boadu has described speculations surrounding the alleged confiscation of Kofi Adams's cars as 'useless'.
News went viral that the individuals who besieged the NDC National Organiser's house to carry out the exercise are persons from the NPP's Invisible Force.
“That kind of useless rumours makes it difficult to solve simple problems. Whiles we have to find solutions to such problems and those involved, we say useless things,” John Boadu rebutted.
His comment comes after some armed men dressed in military attire, suspected to be army personnel on Wednesday, February 1, 15 stormed the private residence of Kofi Adams at Golf City in Tema, and seized all his five vehicles.
The group were said to be in the company of four alleged National Security officers and personnel from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA).
The vehicles, according to Kofi Adams are two (2) Land Cruisers and three (3) Pick Ups belonging to his brother.
Mr Adams, who was also the NDC's Campaign Coordinator for the 2016 elections, and is currently in Dubai, has threatened legal action when he returns to the country.
Speaking on Neat FM’s morning show dubbed 'Ghana Montie', John Boadu opined that, it will be prudent for proper investigation to be conducted rather than the unreasonable accusations.
“Since those people are not from the security forces, then we must investigate to know where they are from and who sent them,” he said.
“The NDC must stop these false accusations,” he added.
Meanwhile, the Deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is alleging that the cars seized from Kofi Adams belong to government.
“I’m telling you authoritatively that Kofi Adams's car is a Government of Ghana vehicle. It was stolen and sold,” he fumed.
He also bemoaned how the National Security office is handling the matter especially when there is "clear evidence" the cars are stolen.
“We are aggrieved and dissatisfied with how the National Security is handling the matter that is why I have come public,” he added.

U and ur entire party members are more uuseless than the ndc.in fact the entire npp members need the right levels of salt and pepper in their system to reason as normal human beings.
Whether the NPP acts within the "Law" or not is immaterial. NDC will not deal leniently with anyone. In fact this lesson may probably give them some food for thought. They might not be so "gung-ho" next time they get Power! ***barred word***.... We all need to think of the future. Why steal or commandeer state property? Hweeeeeeeee, it's going back, and if you refuse to send it back, it would be taken by force! State Property is just that, State Property! Let it be kept there.... No one has the right to remove it. Just seize everything NDC, the V8s, Lands and houses. Then let them provide proper paperwork before getting these back. Next time, whether NPP, NDC or PPP, no one would want to keep State Property.
Put all the NDC ***barred word*** behind bars where they belong! if someone stealing a hen to feed his family gets 5 years in jail, the Mahama and his cohorts deserve at least, twenty at Nsawam prisons. This includes Lordina.
If indeed the cars have no VIN numbers, then they should be confiscated and crashed for recycling. We cannot allow cars with no VIN numbers to drive on our streets.
This is getting dangerous. So who are genuine military and who are not? Please come again because that can be dangerous. Does it mean we should not take some uniformed men with AK 47 serious? Come again.
Ask your BD chairman, called DC or whatever. he told us on asempa yesterday that he took them there
Wisdom must prevail. Why is the current NDC Group struggles to make sensse in everything? Have they lost their brains? Look at Suhuyini, Okudzato & Ahi on the Vetting Committee; lacking everything of wisdom. SO So F00OLISHNESS abound in their conduct over there. Now this is a simple matter, just get the security agencies involve. Arrest anybody misbehaving or seize the stolen cars and return to the state. that's all. Must it be a whole day's discussion as it happened on Kokorokoo this morning?
Massa; to me this a simple matter; just detain all the cars at the police or state house and lets all wait for this NDC krimimnal Kofi Adams to return to Ghana; all cars owened by these NDC officials including Asiedu Nketia ; Ade Coker should re-examined because the available intelligence shows that these cars were stole from the state car pool or it was well planned initiative by Kofi Adamms and the NDC to steal these cars and change the VIN numbers ; forensic examination can easily spot whether the VIN numbers have been changed because you can never temper with todays VIN numbers on cars besides if the manufacturer is called in they will be able to spot any changes ;massa these cars were stolen and sold to Kofi Adams or Kofi Adams colluded in stealing these cars ; WHAT IS KOFI ADAMS DOING IN DUBAI ANYWAY ? ; THEY HAVE ALL GONE THERE ON THE TICKET OF JON MAHAMA TO SHARE THE LUTT THEY HAVE STOLEN FROM GHANAIANS ; ARREST KOFI ADAMS WHEN HE ARRIVES IN GHANA !!!!!!!!NOW !!!!
beginning of arrogance. Obiri-Boahen is saying one thing and John boadu too is saying another thing. confusion aye basaa.
***barred word*** you said? Since your party came to power I have noticed a change in your tone and choice of words. Take it easy ok?
