The Member pf Parliament for Keta, Mr Richard Quashigah wants President Akufo-Addo to sack Madam Otiko Afisa Djaba as Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection following her public face off with the northern regional chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Daniel Bugri Naabu.
According to him, the development has brought governance into disrepute and that Madam Djaba’s action vindicates the Minority in Parliament’s decision not to back her approval as Minister because she lacked the temperament for the job.
He also asked President Akufo-Addo as leader of the NPP to sanction Mr Bugri Naabu.
“Obviously these two have brought shame to the executive and the leadership of Nana Akufo-Addo and the proper thing to do is to simply dismiss especially the Minister of Gender and Social Protection and also be seen to be championing the necessary and swift move in dealing with the issue of bribery as have been alleged against Mr Bugri Naabu,” Mr Quashigah said in a radio interview on Joy FM.
“These happenings have also brought to the fore the issue of the murder of the former Upper East Regional Chairman of the NPP. We will expect that the Ghana Police Service will move quickly to action, by inviting Mr Naabu for further clarification on the allegations that he has made against these Ministers of State,” the Keta MP added.

Look who is talking???When human beings are talking then you Quarshigah to dey talk some.
Is Daily graphic the mouth piece of the ndc and are they paid by the ndc? I think if it is a state media then there should be some sort of reshuffle because somebody is there doing ndc agenda not working for Ghana and the era of the republic of ndc is gone forever. This state news paper never report from the present people's government which was voted overwhelmingly by the people but rather the rejected dead party, that hateful ndc party and whoever is an ndc member at daily graphic doing the ndc job is a witch and must be hunted. Anyway! Ndc has no locus to tell the government to sack Otiko, if Oye Lithur who used $100,000 to celebrate her Birthday when people were hungry was found okay with the ndc,so, is Otiko also fine with the NPP after all there was a fight between to elephants so what's your problem? Why should the dismantled umbrella on the floor be talking? Ndc doesn't matter in Ghana so they should stop behaving like they are in power, like they can dictate to anyone even after this humiliating defeat, like they still control power in our country. Somebody tell them their power has been ripped off by the good people of Ghana so they should sh*t up. They are too nuisance in the country making themselves unattractive.
