The Managing editor of the Al Hajj Newspaper Alhaji Bature has described the ruling government as the most deceptive and fraudulent political party in Ghana.
Alhaji Bature accused President Nana Addo Dankwa and his administration of misleading and deceiving Ghanaians with their propaganda schemes.
“The NPP and the president are liars. This is the kind of government that is very good at deception. They think they can rule this country on propaganda. This government is the most deceptive government Ghana has ever had,” Bature professed on Adom TV’s ‘Badwam Mpensenpensenmu’.
According to him, the NPP has achieved none of the many promises they made to Ghanaians in the run up to the 2016 elections. To him it was a “trap” set by the government to win the trust of Ghanaians as well as entice citizens to vote them into power.
The editor, who challenged the NPP to prove which of their promises they had fulfilled said Ghanaians, including NPP supporters, have regretted voting the ruling party into power because jobs promised them have not materialized. To this he said he had proof.
“What fundamental thing have they done since they came into power? All they have done is to deceive Ghanaians since they came into power. And I am telling you,the people who voted…the NPP supporters; they can’t even find a job."
The disgruntled Editor blamed the media for acting as a propaganda mechanism through which the NPP won the elections and threw dust into the eyes of Ghanaians through their lies. For him, it is unfortunate as it will have dire consequences on the country and the media will have its own share of the cake.
“I am disappointed in the media because they helped the government to come into power. But whether you like it or not we are all in it and will sink together. Because anything built on propaganda is like building a house on the sand.”

You sources of funding have dried up, thats why you are talking like that. Never again will we allow f0ols like you to be in the helm of affairs again. Never again shall we vote for a President like Mahama again. Ghanaians are enlightened now and his kind dont stand a chance. We want doers, not talkers who dont do anything. Just talk talk
Alhaji Bat, I am sure you still don't know how Ghanaians feel about your comments and your party. If you know you and your people would find a new approach to discussing national developmental issues. Continue living in self denial and vain criticisms. I mean if you attack an 11 month old party in office as if it has come to the end of it's term like this, you only spur them on to do better - which will cost your party rather. THINK THINK THINK
When I hear such kleptomaniacs speak like this, I wish we are in the revolutionary era, he would have been shot by now, for him to have the mouth to talk
Ah Kwaku Nokwafo, I am disappointed in you paa. Who buys the AL Hajj, paper. Even the NDC people don't read Al Hajj. At my workplace, two copies are given to us for free, but you will always meet them at our PR section. Our PR outfit does not review it like they do to other papers like Daily Graphic, The Ghanaian Times, Daily Guide, etc. May be he has taken the lead, like it happens abroad, where newspapers are not sold. They are for free. The difference is that those papers abroad are read. I am quite sure Bature himself does not read his paper. Even NDC pro-radio stations do not review it on their morning shows. Even groundnut sellers have rejected it as they now use polythene rappers. Bature complained bitterly that the NDC babies with sharp teeth were leading the party into the abyss, especially when his small boys and girls at Radio Gold were given jobs and he had none. He talked and talked and criticized Papa J as if Papa was going to be on the ballot paper. Now he is confused. Just allow him, but stop talking about Al Hajj, for it is not a newspaper. After the defeat of 2000, the party concluded that they had a challenge with the media game and so they came out with a project to set up a lot of media houses, both print and electronic. But their very nature is the problem. Look at how they attack the media and you want to win their favour.
another ed10t spotted. hunger can cause ple to go mad and that is exactly what this moron is suffering from. ur ndc will remain in opposition till thy kingdom come.
"WHEN YOU SEE A GOAT JUST SAY ITS AN ELEPHANT BY NDC" ON QUOTE
i wonder if this Bature man read the comments people write in response when he make such utterances. There are two types of Ghanaians in the ndc party. those who are not in tune with what good governance is and those who are in for chop chop and Bature is one of the chop chop people. gone are the days when he was paid for doing nothing and now that free money is no more I wonder if Bature do read the comments people make in response to his entrances and do people buy his papers at all? Pathetic.
IF NPP IS DECEPTIVE BUT IMPLEMENTING GOOD POLICIES THAT'S BETTER THAN NDC WITH HEAD LOGS AND NO POLICIES.
"Because anything built on propaganda is likely to fall" indeed that was why the NDC fell. It is quiet ridiculous that Bature is still saying such things on air, it is about time readers stop buying his bogus paper AL HAJJ.
