A communications team member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi, has described the 1.1 million jobs government claims to have created as a “product of baseless and laughable assumptions.”
Speaking on Asempa FM’s late afternoon political talk show, Ekosii Sen on Friday, Gyamfi rubbished government’s claim that it has created 1.1 million jobs describing it as “ridiculous and an insult to the intelligence of all Ghanaians.”
“This deceptive claim by government is insulting to all Ghanaians. What is even more insulting is the so-called breakdown they have put out there. I don’t know whether the 1.1 million jobs they claim they have created are in Pluto, Mars or Antarctica but I want our listeners to know that it is nothing but a blatant lie. The jobs just don’t exist. What does this government take us for? Do they think that we some zombies to take whatever they tell us on face value?,” he queried.
To Sammy Gyamfi, it was ridiculous for government to assume that each of the 7000 people being trained under the NEIP program will successfully set up businesses and actually employ an average of three (3) people each.
He said there was no reasonable basis for that assumption since none of the so-called 7000 trainees has received a dime from the program as start-up capital yet.
He further rubbished government’s claim of having created 745,000 jobs under the planting for food program and referred to Hon. Kennedy Agyapong NPP MP for Assin Central, the leadership of GAWU and the Peasant Farmers Association of Ghana who has all described the claim as false.
“These farmers were already farmers before the inception of this government and its planting for food and jobs program and most of the labourers they have employed on their farms were already labourers even before the inception of this program and so why must government describe that as additional jobs?” he asked.

look at this housefly
Sammy Gyamfi were you even employed during the reign of NDC?
Name: Gabby Otchere darko Now some history : UGCC broke down in 1952... Busia then formed the Ghana congress party (GCP) and launched it at bekwai. In 1954 some ppl (including then otumfuo Agyemang Prempeh with his money worth seventy million pounds ) formed the NLM. When elections was held NLM had some seats and tho busia lost his seat,NLM offered him a seat. We had the Ga shefi mekpe (meaning the Ga youth),the togoland congress,Ghana muslims counsel--why Suame in Kumasi is so important in our history, the northern people's party.NLM was the Ashanti branch... The constellation of the above groups formed the UP. There was no UGCC and nothing like that at the time.UGCC is in no way connected to UP In the scheme of things,Ashanti and northern regions were not part of the colony...so all the people who claim they were fighting for independence were the coastal regions and greater parts of the eastern region who were under the then colony. Ashanti's joined the battle for independence after the Second World War when otumfuo went to Accra... It was then that he said they would join the euphoria to be part of the struggle for independence. So strictly speaking,Ashanti and northern regions were not part of the colony. 1947-formation of ugcc 1949-formation of cpp 1951-breakdown of ugcc /defunct 1952--formation of Ghana congress party by dr Busia and inaugurated at Bekwai in Ashanti 1954--formation of NLM (at manhyia but Baffuor Akoto spokesperson) 1957--avoidance of discrimination act by Kwame Nkrumah so formation of UP due to dissolution of all ethnic and religious based parties Name: Hajia Fati
Oh my God, so this is the young man with acid mouth and alkaline saliva who shouts on Asempa Fm to cut through Npp policies and take Mr. President to the cleaners. Interesting eh! Mr. Young man, ya passion for Ndc and JDM is in every argument you put forward. I will be glad if you weigh the issues well before throwing out those accusations which stem from propaganda. Being ya insulting best or rather, casting ***barred word*** insinuations at the president spoils ya argument. When combined with Asafo Agyei, the matter dislocates. Master, you have a long way to go in politics so train ya output or outburst.
This Sammy Gyamfi guy is trying hard to be smart with the aim of doing exactly what Ofosu Kwakye, Fiifi Kwatey,Okudjeto Abrakwa and those babies with sharp ***barred word*** did,so in the unlikely event of NDC win power in 2020 he will be considered. This time, I hope NDC will not make such a mistake. The power is even a mirage to them.
WHERE FROM THIS ***barred word*** GUY.TALKING AS IF HE HAS WORKED BEFORE.VERY SOON HE WILL JOIN NDC AS USUAL.FOR THEY ALL KNOW THAT IS THE SHORT ROUT TO RICHES WHEN IT COMES TO POLITICS.AND BECAUSE THEY ARE GREEDY AND LAZY,THAT BECOMES THEIR EASIEST OPTION.IF AM LYING WATCH THIS GUY!
Where from this guy always in suit talking saaa from station to station. Who pays him. And the stations too have time for this weasel anokwa
My advise to the NDC is that, anytime this boy speaks, they lose votes. They used the babies with sharp teeth during the 2016 election and they failed woefully so l do not understand why they cannot change their strategy. This boy is smart getting free money to pay his fees. By the way where is Nii Darko Ankrah, who was hopping from one radio station to the other insulting Nana during the 2012 elections?
I dont now what the NDC sees in this 1diot to be sending him to speak for them on radio and TV shows. I guess he is a true reflection of the party itself. The likes of Solomon Nkansah and Kweku Buahen and this guy are clear reflection of the NDC. When they speak, you hate the party even more. WHEN AT ALL WILL THEY LEARN SOME LESSONS?
look this I d o ooootic f o, o, o o u u u up should not be allowed to insult our leaders
