Aspiring National Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Freddie Blay has finally honoured his promise to purchase 275 buses for each constituency in the country.
Freddie Blay, who's currently the Acting National Chairman of the party, in his campaign message promised delegates and members of the party that he would procure 275 buses for the party.
Though some people thought it's either impossible or maybe Mr. Blay was just bluffing, he has given a strong confirmation on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo' on Wednesday that to prove he's a man of his word; the buses are already at the harbour pending clearance.
He told 'kokrokoo' host Kwami Sefa Kayi that he's ready to serve the NPP and the nation, hence arranging for the procurement of the buses.
Touching on the funding for the buses, Mr. Blay revealed that "financial institution is helping us. We’re taking a bank facility to do so. It’s self-paying . . . We do so for and for every constituency. It’s not about if they vote for me first before I do it. The buses are in the country as I talk to you, Kwami. They’re in the harbour . . ”
Upon delivering on his promise, Mr. Blay is calling on the party delegates to vote massively for him to become the National Chairman.
The NPP National Conference will be held at Koforidua in the Eastern Region on Saturday, July 7, 2018.

Where did the money come from NPP? Kwame Sefa Kyei ask your NPP folks where did the money come from?
Shortly after coming to power, one party builds a multi million dollar head office, the other acquires 275 buses. Yet some have justified reasons for both actions. Ghana for you.
We always accuse NDC of being corrupt meanwhile we are doing the same thing we accused NDC of. I am sad for Ghana
ALL DUTIES AND TAXES MUST BE PAID TO THE STATE
hmmm NPP is not corrupt
i am tempted to say that this is the most insensitive, unreasonable, childish minded that has happened to Ghanaians. Our leaders have refused to think but this one is way below human ability. Both NPP and ndc are very Usele$$ to Gh
I GOT SICK WHEN I HEARD THIS 275 BUSES. I COME FROM THE WESTERN REGION AND WHERE BLAY COMES FROM THERE IS SO MUCH POVERTY. UNTILL RECENTLY WHEN THE MP DONATED ONE AMBULANCE TO THE AXIM HOSPITAL THERE WAS NONE. GO TO EFFIA NKWNTA AND DIXCOVE THEY ARE IN NEED OF VEHICLES AND YOU TAKE A PERSONAL LOAN TO BUY 275 BUSES JUST BECOUSE YOU WONT A POST? nOW YOU ARE GOING TO GIVE IT TO STATE TRANSPORT TO RUN IT. DIDNT HE SAY HE WILL GIVE IT TO THE PARTY TO RUN IT TO SOLVE FINANCIAL PROBLEMS IN ALL THE PARTY CENTRES ACROSS THE COUNTRY? I WONDER WHY THE WESTERN REGION CONTINUE TO VOTE FOR THIS PEOPLE.
If Ntim does not win I willl quit NPP.
Where is Okyehene, He is talking ***barred word***, Instead of them to think of getting Ambulances for each constituency look at what they are doing. Gh will remain the same
FREDDIE BLAY IS AN OPPORTUNIST, THIS IDEA OF BUS ACQUISITION WAS MOOTED BY THE NPP WHO GUARANTEED TO PURCHASE THE BUSES. FREDDIE IS NOT THE BRAIN BEHIND THIS VENTURE. AN OPPORTUNIST WHO LEFT THE CPP BECAUSE THE NPP WAS THEN IN POWER.DOES HE NOW CLAIM HE IS MUCH MORE FAITHFUL THAN OTHERS WHO HAVE STRUGGLED TO SUSTAIN THE PARTY DURING ALL THESE DARK DAYS. MIND YOU A LIZARD CANNOT TURN INTO A CROCODILE. WAS HE NOT THE SAME FREDDIE WHOSE PAPER DAILY WAS USED IN CASTIGATING THE THEN CANDIDATE NANA AKUFO ADDO? HMMMMMM NPP LETS SIT UP. WE CANNOT SELL UR BIRTH RIGHT TO A METAMORPHOSED CPP CANDIDATE.
