The National Democratic Congress has descended on President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, tagging him a visionless and inept leader.
A statement dated December 4 and signed by National Communications Director, Sammy Gyamfi noted how the NPP government has paraded itself as ‘useful’ before the Ghanaian populace through deception and sham.
Touching on the projected Greater Accra Regional tour to be embarked on by President Akufo-Addo to inspect some 10 listed ‘major’ ongoing projects, the NDC said it was prudent that government duly acknowledges their predecessors for commencing them rather than take undue credit for these projects.
“Government pathetically lists ten (10) "major" projects that the President will be visiting during his tour, most of which are projects of the erstwhile NDC-Mahama Administration, and a vindication of the towering infrastructure legacy of H.E President Mahama”.
"Despite the fact that the NDC subscribes to the principle of governance being a continuum, and that successive governments must pursue projects commenced by preceding governments in line with the Directive Principles of State Policy, we believe in giving credit where credit is due. We think that successive governments have a moral duty to be fair and candid in how they appropriate credit for projects initiated and commenced by their predecessors. It was in recognition of this moral duty that the previous NDC-Mills/Mahama Administration invited former President Kufuor to the commissioning ceremony of the N1 George W. Bush Highway in February 2012, and in that same vein, we expect nothing but candor on the part of President Akufo-Addo during this tour”, portions of the statement read.
They chastised government over their inability to invest in key capital projects which can enhance employment and development in the country, tagging the regional tours embarked on by President Akufo-Addo as ‘glorification and celebration of mediocrity and a waste of taxpayers money”.
“All they can boast of is a private-owned Astro turf facility, inherited Mahama projects and a handful of insignificant projects. Though they remain the most resourced government in the history of Ghana, the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government has woefully failed to invest in key capital projects which can create sustainable jobs and improve the socio-economic wellbeing of the Ghanaian. This confirms our long-held view that President Akufo-Addo is visionless, inept and a monumental failure”.

If Prez Akuffo Addo is Visionless then what is ex Prez Mahama? Massa where in the constitution is it stated that succeeding govt must acknowledge projects started by the previous administration. Go and check the history of these projects, most of them can be traced ex Prez Kuffour era. Grow up boy and stop this childish behaviour. We need serious people with serious minds at the helm of our political parties and this guy is not one. You have not reached 1% of what Prez Akuffo Addo has achieved in life. Please take note.
If not ignorance and tribalism, who on earth will vote for the NDC. The NDC members are like my half-brother who claims that Accra Olympics is the best soccer club in Ghana.
The least looterrrr Mahama could do after borrowing in the name of Ghana and Ghanaians, was to construct infrastructure projects. Even with that, the records show he was lacking in that regard and of the huge astronomical debt, he left Ghana and Ghanaians, less than 5% was used for these projects. It was a borrow to divert and lootttttt, create lootttttt and share exercise of retrograde and reprobate governance the likes of which Ghana and Africa has never witnessed before, since Ghana gained independence in 1957. We have the story of funds for the construction of hospitals being diverted for election research and massively munched leaving the development of Ghana with regards to the health sector in a very story state, not to mention the collapse of the NHIS. We have the story of monies for 200 SHS's bloated through the roof for skimming off, for severe chewing, to the extent, of the 200 SHS's promise by Mahama for which funds were secured, Ghana and Ghanaians cannot even count 30 that were fully completed. And the list goes on and on and on. We are aware of funds for a multipurpose dam construction in the Northern part of Ghana, being diverted for road construction and viciously squandered in exchange for a Ford Expedition with the so-called constructed road resembling an unformed mass of jutted landscape akin to climbing the surface of rocks, as in the adventures of rock climbing by the daring. The irony of such recklesssssss and irresponsibleeeee acts of reprobateeeee and retrogradeeeee acts is that, Ghana and Ghanaians have to pay the loan plus interest with absolutely nothing to show for it, with more money or funds needed to be borrowed again, for these same projects which lootingggggg managed to secure its rapid descent into the rabbit hole of thieveryyyyyyy. The "crowning glory" of such irresponsibilityyyyyyy was a trip to the IMF for a bailout with their own austerity measures, which further halted or held in abeyance, the development of Ghana. That is the epitome of cluelessnesssssss, irresponsibilityyyyyy and unmatched and irredeemable monumental tremendous failurrrre by John Dramani Mahama, for which he was roundly and speedily sent packing by Ghana and Ghanaians for such gross senselessnessssssss. The meat chewing to the bone Mahama was a staggering colossal disaster.
Sammy kindly take advice from Sam George and Felix ofosu kwakye, they have all tone down, this is politics and you need to becareful my brother
But Sammy Gyamfi, this insulting of Nana Akufo-Addo 'FORMULA' did not work for the NDC in 2016. How do you think it will work in 2020? Because you and your NDC people are those talking while the rest go about their normal duties doesn't mean you have captured the political terrain and that Ghanaians are going to vote massively for you in 2020. Only Time Will Tell. Don't underrate the patience and intelligence of the Ghanaian.
I am challenging you to publish the picture of your father and also tell us what does your father does for a living for Ghanaians to see. You do not deserve to be in Akuffo Addo's family line. They are cultured people and well trained. Because of politics anybody who had not done anything in Life can stand up and spew lies and insults about their grand fathers as their co-equal. The NDC is trying very hard to coin a description for the president but since God is in control its not working. At one breath they Super incompetent, visionless etcs. But Ghanaiana konw that those descriptions only fit them the NDC.
LOOK AT THIS THING.AHHHHHH
Look at this stuuudiiid ***barred word*** also insulting his grant father. Your days are cut short. Your dressing alone tells who you are. What kind dressing is this? Fake tie, fake suit and fake human being.
WOTRI SO NE W'PAPASO WAE.
Sammy, no need to be arrogant and insulting to show people that you can talk. my humble advice... you are young man and have plenty years in politics . always remember the saying KARMA IS A B..TCH In anyway was those projects you are crying about funded from JM's pocket? is it not good the current government completes them ? you expected all those monies spent go waste? did JM pay the contractors before exiting office ? I beg let me hear something more constructive from you next time
