The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is to immortalise the celebrated nationalist and revered traditional ruler, Chief Dombo, a Co-Founder of the political tradition from which the New Patriotic Party (NPP) takes its very root.
The NPP, otherwise known as the Danquah-Busia-Dombo Tradition, is touted as being founded on rich democratic principles that have stood the test of time because of the illustrious works of our forebears, including Chief Dombo, who also served as Minister of Health and Interior in Busia’s government.
A statement released in Accra yesterday, and signed by the General Secretary of the party, John Boadu, said the NPP will, on Thursday this week, officially launch the S.D. Dombo Foundation for Development and Leadership Studies.
“Let us meet and celebrate the legacies of this distinguished personality whose legendary contribution to laying the foundation for Ghana’s thriving democracy cannot be overemphasised,” he said.
