Deputy National Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress [NDC] Godwin Ako Gunn has described the drone delivery of medical supplies as “the most needless and useless means to reach remote areas in the country with medical services”.
Godwin Ako Gunn said the minority in Parliament have the right not to agree to a contract they do not understand, because as representatives how would they explain themselves to their members when the contract is messy.
According to him, government should focus and invest in employing health personnel into the unattended hospitals and chip compounds built by the previous government than abandon them for cheap political gains as they riot.
He said the $12.5 million Fly Zipline services agreement between Fly zipline and government for the use of drone technology for emergency medical supplies has nothing good to offer this nation, but in the interest of the ruling New Patriotic Party.
He was speaking on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ political discussion programme, Wednesday.

Sometimes, you guys need to address the substance in an opinion rather than individuals and also the unintelligent references to pass situations. You mean, because Mahama did a classless and irresponsible branding so Akufo-Addo's government should embark on an equally crazy behavior. Ghanaian authorities are notorious for their cluelessness in maintenance even though they show a strong tendency in the love for technology. This amount to be invested in drones is a waste; in a few months they would all fall to bird flu and they would begin to fall from the skies. In my view, the amount earmarked for this ***barred word*** deal could add to a hospital in one village! Is Bawumia intelligent and wise? I don't think so.
AM getting impatient with Nana Akuffo Addo for not providing the needed logistics to the office of the Special Prosecutor to begin his work. I put the blame squarely on the president for all these noise from NDC.
I pity the NDC. Look at the two trontliners in their communication directorate, Sammy Genfi and Aku Gunn and you know the party is in serious trouble. Add Akamba who cannot even express himself properly as the national organiser. The weakest team ever that the NDC has put together. Anyway, i am even the more happier.
Look who is talking! I don't get it.Why is it that the NDC attracts all the riff-raff ,low=lives and people without much intelligence.I bet this guy does not even know what a drone is.
What about John Ford Mahama bus branding?
This ex-convict is still talking....
Your us*less and crim*nal ndc party flied guinea fowls to Burkina Faso but you considered that appropriate enough. NPP is ruling so you cannot dictate to them. An ex-convict.
Gentleman, what do you know? aaaah Ghana has indeed becomes a child play country no wonder people are suffering
