Nobody has been shot dead as earlier claimed by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Organizer Joshua Akamba, Peacefmonline.com can confirm.
The NDC National Executive told OkayFM in an earlier interview that two of their members have been shot dead.
But one of Peace FM’s Senior Reporters monitoring the polls, Akwasi Agyeman, reports that though seven (7) people who are members of the opposition NDC were rushed to the Legon Hospital Emergency ward, somewhere after 10am, they only sustained gun-shot wounds in the head and leg.
According to him, his checks from the NDC leaders who rushed the victims to the Legon Hospital indicates that nobody has passed away.
".....the doctors and nurses at the hospital also confirmed that the people brought to their hospital only suffered grisly body injuries but are no one is dead," he narrated.
Akwasi Agyeman further reported that he personally asked the injured persons to mention their names and ages to him.
“I asked the 7 persons their names; Abubakar Usman is 47 years....The others are Isaac Doe Cudjoe, 49 years; Shaibu Suleman 42 years; Mohammed Alhassan 45 years....Ishabu Yaru is 37 years and is the only one in a critical condition who has been rushed to the 37 Military Hospital.
"Bashiru Amadu is 19 years as well as Eric Donkor. They are part of the 7 injured persons on admission at the Legon hospital,” the journalist recounted.

This report to me seem to downplay the magnitude of this nasty incident simply because the victims here are members of the NDC which we all know Peace FM is always biased against. With all die be die at the helm of affairs now, the citizens of this country are not safe. We shall be compelled to also use any arsenal at our disposal to defend ourselves against NPP miscreants. As for Peace FM, if you cannot stay neutral then you have no business being in the media industry.
Once again Zongo people are being used by NDC, mention the names. Zongo people wise up ooooooo ton.
