The Electoral Commission has denied the allegation that it is registering members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at the ongoing limited voters' registration exercise.
The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) claims the EC has assigned personnel who register members of the NPP in the Ashanti Region.
However, Communications Officer of the EC, Sylvia Annor told Nana Yaw Kesse, sit-in host of Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo', Wednesday that that is not the case.

SINCERELY, THIS REGISTRATION EXERCISE IS LIMITED FOR SOME PEOPLE ONLY. A BIG CITY LIKE TAKORADI HAS ONLY ONE CENTRE WHICH SERVES THE ENTIRE CITY.....ONE GOES THERE AS EARLY AS 6.30AM TO JOIN THE QUEUE AND WILL BE AT THE SAME POSITION TILL 5PM ONLY TO BE TOLD THEY HAVE CLOSED SO COME BACK TOMORROW
