Former President John Dramani Mahama has visited one of the victims who survived gunshots in the midst of the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election violence, Ishao Yaro, after his successful leg surgery.
Mr Mahama shared a photo of himself and Yaro in a hearty chat on his hospital bed when he visited him a second time after the incident.
Mr Ishawu Yaro, recently sued government for himself and on behalf of the other 22 persons who claim to have suffered various forms of injury in the violence that rocked the Ayawaso-West Wuogon by-election on January 31 this year.

But why must government wait for the victims to sue them before taking action. We claim we are the champion of democracy and human rights in Africa but see how our own government is treating us. When Ghanaians weere killed in Gambia we were all calling for justice,so why are we doing same in this case.
Mtweeemo, you look, behave and sound like a "fuull* of an article of no commercial value. Were the NPP sympathizers who trooped to Ayawaso to observe the by-elections invited? History will one day vindicate the NDC. You can hide behind your party (npp) and pour invectives on NDC. You may thank God none of your family was a victim. wasavictim
Nons*ense, are you a voter in that constituency? what did you go there to do? Sue the government for sending you there or for protecting Ghanaians that you were sent there to hurt? tell John mahama the one infront if you eho was the beneficiary of your action and subsequent retaliation to pay you and stop that nons*ense ,you will never get a farthing ! your mission there must be disclosed and if you were a voter and you people think we are playing with you to destroy Ghana right? you ain't seen nothing yet! the Doctors are even good to have given you good care because you people wouldn't have forgiven them if they were victims of your ndc intimidation and brute! You can send the government to wherever want you will lose and no compensation those monies will be used for better things for Ghanaians!
