President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will be speaking on the controversial Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) this weekend.
The CSE programme has been suspended following huge public outcry against its implementation.
The Minister of Information, Mr Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, in a tweet on Friday, 4 October 2019, said: “Akufo-Addo will this weekend address faith-based organisations on the fears that pro-LGBTQ teachings will soon find expression in Ghana’s schools. He will bring clarity on the government’s position on the matter.”
This follows calls by pressure group OccupyGhana for the government to state its position on the matter.

You didn't speak about the alleged coup de tat, but because you are coming to fabricate stories to tell us, you're quick to address the nation on CSE which is already in the budget. Shame on you.
