The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has urged his government to do more to put the economy in shape.
His comment comes on the back of an IMF recent comment on the economy.
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) says Ghana's economy remained stable and further projected a seven percent Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth for 2019. They, however, asked the government to be watchful about the country's rising external debt.
According to John Boadu even though the IMF has commended the ruling administration for putting the economy in good shape, "there is more room for improvement"
He was contributing to a panel discussion on Peace FM morning show 'Kokrokoo'
