President Nana Akufo-Addo will resume his national tour by visiting the Volta Region from November 4 to 5, 2019, the Information Minister has revealed.
An itinerary disclosed by Kojo Oppong Nkrumah stated the president will kick off the tour in the Ho Central Constituency with a meeting of the Regional Council.
The president will then depart to Adaklu and Akin to inspect infrastructural projects as well as attend theatre anniversary of the Akatsi District Assembly.
President Akufo-Addo is also expected to grace a durbar of the people of Aflao as part of his tour.
On Tuesday November 5, 2019, the president will interact with students, teachers of selected Senior High Schools in Ho and Vakpo. He will also attend durbars in Elukope, Kpeve and commission a dormitory block for the Vakpo Senior High School
He’s expected to also visit the Volta Star Styles Limted and lay a foundation stone for the railway project which is now been expanded to some other parts of the enclave.
According the Information Minister, these regional tours by the president are aimed at giving him an “opportunity to hear firsthand from the people and observe for himself the progress of work.”
President Akufo-Addo will return to Accra on the night of November 5, 2019 after the tour.
