A Special Aide to former President John Dramani Mahama, Godwin Edudzi Tamakloe says he is worried about the direction the country is heading to under the leadership of President Nana Akufo-Addo.
According to him, things are getting worse daily with no solution from the NPP government over the years.
“There is so much tension in this country,” he bemoaned in an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’.
Adding that, “The country is sharply divided. If you speak to any security person, the person will tell you we are sitting on a time bomb.”
Godwin Edudzi Tamakloe was discussing a meeting between his boss, former President John Dramani Mahama and the cousin of President Nana Akufo-Addo, Gabby Otchere Darko over the controversial E-Levy bill.

SUCH INFANTILE COMMENT! CREATE THAT IN YOUR BALD HEAD,,, DEVIOR DE
If there is tention in the country the leave because its not good for you ***barred word***. ***barred word*** and headless man
Look who’s talking We slept in darkness close to 4Years under your Mahama we endured There was no so called tension in the country This is your Trade mark To create tension when there is none
Guys in the NDC. This reckless talk and creating of unnecessary tension and insecurity will not win power for you in 2024. Better sit up and go down there and campaign. The problem with NDC right now is that, there is no Father figure. NDC in leadership crisis! Since the demise of Rawlings, NDC has been suffering from leadership gap. Good elders in the NDC must rise up and be counted. You will be insulted and intimidated but let your voice count. This kind of talk by Edudzi or whatever he calls himself don't win power anymore in Ghana.
You are a ***barred word***, who is creating the tension? Ofosu Ampofo said on his tape that ndc will make the country ungovernable so what do you expect? Whatever happens we all dey inside.
Tension from where? Because you want power by any means? 1979 will NEVER happen! Try it and see! Shameful, power drunk party. What did you do with power for over 27+ yrs?
Since the NDC lost the election last year, they have been violent all through. From January 7 till date. They are the cause of all this brawls in parliament. They (NDC) want to win by all means. Some of their mps are just violent by their utterances. A lady mps is alleged to have said they would do a one on one mapping to fight. When the npp was in opposition, they never rushed to the speakers podium to take hold of the chair.
Those of you making unnecessary comments that there is tension in the country should not forget that when there is any calamity in the country all of us are going to be affected inrrespective of your party colours. Do not sit somewhere and think that what ever happens in the country woult not affect you. Do you know how many people lost their lives in the era of the 1979 coup and subsequent 1981 coup. People like Edudzi were not born by that time or were infants and never knew what went and that it why they speak by hart.
The NDC thinks that the only way Ghanaians will vote for them is to create confusion and make the country ungovernable. Without the distractions, the work of the government will be the talk in town and it will not go down well with the NDC.
The days where ordinary people died because of a selfish, greedy and inward looking group of people called politicians are gone, when the MP's were fighting each other in parliament did you see any ordinary NPP or NDC supporter joining the fight, nobody will risk his life for a group of failed people whose only means to catch up with his colleagues is politics . If there is tension then it's between NDC and NPP appointees not the generality of Ghanaians, if you disagree just get two popular NDC and NPP MP's to pretend to fight in the street or open space, we will gather to watch but not go to support any of them as NDC or NPP, politicians have lost their respect in Ghana. Once the people know you are there to dupe the nation and not about their welfare, they will never respect you. This is exactly what is happening in Ghana. It's like the presidency has ended with Former president kufour.
