The Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper has expressed his disappointment in ECOWAS leaders after another coup d'état in Burkina Faso.
"I'm so disappointed in the ECOWAS leaders...the coup leaders are even better than them. Currently, over 70 percent of Burkina Faso are now under the control of Islamic insurgents; were the ECOWAS leaders asleep when that was happening?" he queried while contributing to a panel discussion on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo'

Oh Uncle Kwesi! You goof big time
Depressing to hear the words coming out of a senior citizen like Mr Pratt. Perhaps, he is doing this because of hatred for Nana Addo as Chairman of ECOWAS. Pull him down is too much, Ghana man. I agree with Kwame's analysis 100%.
So by taken power illegally, has the army leader being able to equip the Burkina Arm Forces to destroy the insurgents, Mr Kwame Daft. Soldiers are responsible for protection of the territorial boundaries of the state but not governance, Mr Daft man. Some of you think coup is the solution to our problems but we forget that we are where are today because of numerous coups on the African continent in general and Ghana in particular. They come as Redeemers, Revolutionaries, etc, but end up depleting the resources of the state and taken us 30-50 years back and Mr. Daft man you it is good idea that a coup has happened in Burkina. Coup indeed!!! A senior citizen like mr Pratt should have known better. As for mr Daft man, the least said about you is better. Good day
EIII KWESI PRATT, SO YOU DON'T KNOW THAT YOU DON'T KNOW
Absolute traaaash! All this is just because of hatred for one man, Nana Addo!
ECOWAS has a security arm. When Islamic insurgents were overwhelming Burkina Faso, could ECOWAS not help be it in intelligence, arms support, troops, or even food to the fighting army of Burkina? When the civilian rulers where refusing to fund the fight, could ECOWAS leaders not warn the Burkina Faso president whom they drank tea with, to address the security challenge or else it could spill over to neighbouring countries?
Are the leaders responsible for fighting the insurgents or the soldiers, Mr Pratt? So if the soldiers could not fight what will the leaders do? Mr Pratt so you support the coup? Has the insurgents gone after the coup? Did the many coups in Ghana solved our problems? Mr Pratt the hypocrisy is too much
