Former Mayor of Tamale, Iddrisu Musah affectionately called Musah Superior, has condemned the General Secretary of the NPP, John Boadu for reportedly describing him as proud.
John Boadu who is seeking re-election, and speaking in an interview on Neat FM's 'Me Man Nti' programme said: "you've not brought a pesewa to support the party . . . what was your relationship with the party? when you were given the position what did you do? No party member could even go to his office".
Musah Superior speaking on the same platform said it doesn't matter the words used by John Boadu to describe me; "I'm very humble, I'm not arrogant".
"I'm surprised that a General Secretary will describe a fellow party member as arrogant . . . I'll leave that and allow the public to judge him. He should check himself . . .
" . . but I'm not ready to get into the gutter with him. He's not able to defend his record so the only thing for him is to come at me. Make your case and stop calling people arrogant".
Meanwhile, John Boadu is facing strong competition from about four other candidates including Musah Superior.

Interesting, assuming without admitting Musah Superior is proud thus party members could not go to his office, let John Boadu know that we currently have ministers and MMDCEs who have become thin gods in their offices such that same party supporters can't go near them. Would you believe that a political appointee in the current government was driving past a place where NPP supporters converge to discuss issues of common interest. This political appointee parked his car and decided to go and greet them. Not one of them stood up to welcome this appointee let alone offering him a seat. He immediately knew he was not welcomed and left almost immediately after greeting them. Come 2024 can such a person lead a campaign team in his constituency when people are waiting to ask him simple questions he can't answer? If you are that proud and arrogant such that party supporters have decided not to have anything to do with you, how will you get close to them when elections are due. The question they will ask is, we have never come to you for anything, why can't you also stay away from us. Now any party general secretary who has his ears on the ground would have known this and move in to bridge the gap between appointees and the grassroots. We saw the works of late Agyenim Boateng, Nana Ohene Ntow, Dan Botwe, Kwabena Agyapong, Sir John (late) . John Boadu and Freddie Blay are doing a great disservice to the NPP. They don't seem to care about what's happening behind them. As for Freddie Blay, the least said about him the better. This is without reference to Musah Superior.
John Boadu has done a good job for the party since 2015 , where was those contestants when the party was in opposition? JB toaso saaa.
You want to serve the NPP, get it right! Sell what you can do to the NPP and Ghana. Not to undermine the sitting JS!
