A former Central Regional Minister, Kwamena Duncan seems fed up with a "one-man show" being run in the Central Region specifically Ekumfi.
He believes the "sole proprietorship and enterprise" is derailing the progress of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the region.
Even though the issue has been reported to the national executives of the party, it appears that nothing has been done to put the "sole proprietor" to order.
In view of this, he told Kwami Sefa Kayi during a panel discussion on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo' that “we will sit back and watch how this sole proprietorship and sole enterprise will turn out"
"This is not the NPP I know," he added.

Hahahaaaa, Kwamena Dunkan paaaaa, it's still same NPP, the name hasn't changed. I thought you were one time central regional minister in this same NPP? It's still Akuffo Addo, it's still same ministers for health, defence, interior, foreign affairs, finance, national security, agriculture, roads, transport. It's still same chief of staff, it's still same Dr Bawumia, it's still same Nana Otuo Sereboe as chairman of the council of state, it's still same Kyei Mensah Bonsu as slim majority leader in parliament, it's still same Rebecca as First Lady, same Samira as number 2 woman. The NPP headquarters is still in Accra, cape coast is still in the central region. So nothing has changed.
Those with integrity will save the little left of them by resigning from the party rather than clamouring for positions towards the 2024 general elections. Just wondering what they are also coming to do.
No no no, you’re rightly wrong. This is only because your way of admitting JM being far better than AKUFFO ADDO is just childish. AKUFFO ADDO only came in to steal and revenge whatever but he’s failed because the truth always stands. I just don’t understand why any serious government will come in and will want to change date of holidays just to appease his dead relatives . Ghana isn’t looking for such leaders. We should mean business and get away from the ***barred word*** way of politics. Mahama has lots of friends and classmates from the NPP buh the truth is, he’s far far better than AKUFFO ADDO . He’s been referred to as the woes of our country. Herh NPP
Indeed this is not the NPP we know, quite a sizable number of NPP supporters have taken a back seat watching events as they unfold. The major challenge facing the current NPP is that they don't look back to see if their supporters are closely following. I keep saying that fear people who are quiet, you never can tell what's in their minds. Under former president kufour we saw a very vibrant NPP for 8 years running. The fact that Akuffo Addo led with 49% in the first round of the 2008 elections meant the NPP was still the popular choice of Ghanaians thanks to the policies of kufour. Kufuor had the skill of moving government and party together, Akuffo Addo is lacking in that skill. One wonders whether he learnt anything from kufour as one of his cabinet ministers. Kufour's elephant had big ears and listened a lot. The Akuffo Addo equally have big ears, unfortunately it doesn't listen, at best it hears but won't listen. The people of Ghana saw in John Mahama and the NDC a group of people who had come to loot, create and share, however current happening makes on believe that what we saw under the NDC was a tip of the iceberg. If Akuffo Addo were to hand over power to John Mahama in January, 2025, he (Akuffo Addo) will go down in history as the worse president in Ghana's fourth republic, that will mean John Mahama with all his negatives is still better than Akuffo Addo. As if cursed Akuffo Addo supplies John Mahama with 'ammunition' almost every day for John Mahama to fire in 2025. You just can't tell what goes into his thinking with some of his actions. Simple reshuffle Akuffo Addo can't do. Roads, finance, interior, defence, foreign affairs, transport, agriculture, trade, national security, same ministers for 5 years running, how? Today party enthusiasm in the NPP is at an all time low and you hear some appointees chanting ' break the 8'. We have ministers, deputy ministers, MMDCE's CEO's who have no biological child of 18 years and above i.e. the qualification for voting age in Ghana. Who's 18 year old son or daughter are you banking your hopes on to 'break the 8' for you? With the current empty pride attitude of some appointees, who will queue for long hours to vote for you to come and misbehave. I pity who ever will be taking over from Akuffo Addo, that person will spend half of the campaign season trying to convince NPP supporters to make sacrifices again. This current NPP is the direct opposite of the kufour one. You can see all aspirants for positions in the party blaming the current leadership both at the level of party and government for the neglect of party foot soldiers, you don't go to war with a demotivated army and expect to win. You don't plant pepper and expect to harvest maize, what you reap is what you sow. As for these current NPP appointees, they are a complete disaster. If current happenings in parliament are not enough lessons to learn from NPP appointees will never learn again. The parliamentary seats could reduce further in 2024. In opposition with nothing you score 169 out of 275. In government with all the resources at your disposal the 169 reduces to 137, but for the maturity exhibited by the independent member for Fomena, the NPP would have been the minority party in parliament, is this normal? The NPP is becoming unattractive under Akuffo Addo, if party communicators have been neglected, what of those sitting under trees? If your mother is the chief cook in a funeral home and the children still go to sleep on hungry stomachs, that mother is totally ***barred word***, hopeless.
