Dennis Miracle Aboagye, the Director of Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development at the Presidency, has called on Ghanaians to continue to repose their confidence in the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration.
Contributing to Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" programme, Dennis Miracle was optimistic the President will fix all the economic problems.
He noted that Ghana is not in an isolated economic situation as world economies are equally saddled with similar challenges resulting from the global pandemic disease and subsequently the war between Russia and Ukraine.
" . . it is not as if we are doing anything extraordinarily wrong but rather there is a crisis out there globally that we need to be prepared to face it. The challenges will surely come but the important thing is we have an empathetic President and government that will fix the problem for us."
He assured Ghanaians that their cries and sufferings will be over by next year.
"I can tell you without any shred of doubt that this government will fix every single situation we find ourselves in. And by the time we end this year and enter the middle of 2023, we will see that we are recovering from the forex distress, we are recovering from the fuel prices crisis, we are recovering from the inflation situation," he stated.

Hahahaaaa, you don't mean it. Are you sure of what you are saying? That by the middle of 2023 all the economic challenges will be solved? You are blaming Russia and Ukraine war on the current mess in which Ghana is facing. Have the Russia and Ukraine presidents told you they will end the war by the end of the year? If yes where and when did they inform you. We hope you won't come back to tell us there is nothing government can do because the Russia/ Ukraine war is still on. The people of Ghana had so much hope and confidence in Akuffo Addo to change the fortunes of this country, unfortunately it's like he doesn't come near where we placed him. Nothing is working in the country now. NPP supporters are not laughing, NDC supporters are not laughing, infact nobody is laughing apart from the political appointees. So the gold, bauxite, manganese, cocoa, timber, crude oil, arable lands, two giant harbours have suddenly become a curse rather than a blessing? With all these we are running to IMF for some 2 billion dollars bailout? A country with all these resources with a population of 30 million and the people are still suffering? Identity the richest country in the world, send Ghanaian politicians to take over the management of that country, bring their politicians to Ghana with only their bags, in 8 years go back and compare the 2, you won't believe that is the same Ghana you knew 8 years ago. Fact is the politicians in Ghana are not looking for power to improve the socio economic wellbeing of the people, far from that. These are a group of people who see politics as a gold mine, so they come to mine their share and the cycle continues. A 65 year old country still struggling to find it's feet because we are yet to come across a visionary and selfless leader with appointees who share the same vision. All they know is V8, exgratia, per diem, allowances, foreign travel. The prime minister of Britain sometimes ride a bicycle or join a train to work but they are well developed. Now the one who says he's poor will charter a plane with a large entourage to go and beg for assistance from the rich man who joins a train to work, you think their senses are not functioning properly like yours. If you ride a bicycle to work and someone with a V8 comes to you for assistance to fuel his V8, even if you have the money, will you give him? If they were misbehaving like you are doing you think they can accumulate so much for you to go and borrow? This IMF will not be the last, they will go back there, be it NPP or their twin brother NDC.They are the same, one father, one mother. If it were possible Ghana will hire the services of a president, ministers, MP's and CEO's to come and handle Ghana for 8 years, without a dollar loan, bet me Accra-Kumasi would have been dualized, Accra will have 24/7 reliable water and power supply, all regional capitals would have been linked by tarred roads, there will be no school under tree, school feeding caterers won't go on strike, health facilities will operate with state of the art equipment, Ghana will export some of the things we are currently importing like toothpick, handkerchief, slippers etc. if crude oil prices are high and Ghana is an exporter of crude oil i thought the country would have been having a windfall by making huge sums of money, but no we are buying fuel at prices much higher than some countries without crude oil, why? Why should Ghana import tomatoes from Burkina Faso when we record higher rainfall than them. Wholely owned government agencies such as Cotton development board, meat marketing board, GNTC, Tema oil refinery, GIHOC, Tema shipyard and dry dock, Catering rest houses, Nsawam cannery, kade matches factory, Bonsu tyre factory, Aboso glass factory, Ashanti Goldfields, Bolga meat factory, Pwalugu tomato factory, Kumasi shoe factory, Akwatia diamond mines, City express, jute factory, Dawhenya irrigation, Fumbisi rice valley, Nasia rice valley, URADEP, NORRIP, VORADEP, Ghana airways, ambassador hotel, name them, who collapsed them? Ghanaian politicians , now they want to collapse forest reserves. So question is! What did the politicians learn in school? Very intelligent people in Ghana, unfortunately once they enter political office, all their senses vanish as if cursed. Hmmmm
