Former deputy General Secretary for the largest opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Koku Anyidoho says the newly elected national leadership of the party will rather keep the party in opposition if Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia fails to settle differences amicably within the party.
According to him, Johnson Asiedu Nketia's 'arrogant' posture will cost the opposition party in the 2024 elections.
"Wherever he [Asiedu Nketia] wants to take this party to, he should remember that we all have a voting right. If he continues with his arrogant, I don’t care posture sorry for him,” he said in an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show, 'Ghana Montie'.
Prior to the NDC’s national elections, Samuel Koku Anyidoho said Johnson Asiedu Nketia did not have what it takes to be the Chairman of the party and that it was impossible for him to lead the NDC as a Chairman.
The 'Bull' as popularly called by his political peers maintained that Aseidu Nketia’s victory will affect the NDC’s quest for power in 2024.
“He [Asiedu Nketia] seems to dislike everyone in the party forgetting some of us also have followers in the party . . .” he lamented.
“How do you get your victory when you have destroyed every bridge available?” he asked rhetorically.

When lunatics are whining you simply have to ignore them. Just look at Koku,s posture.
Look who is talking about arrogance look this guy is the most arrogant person I have ever listened to someone who can do a funeral celebration for someone without respecting the family he come from such a guy saying someone is arrogant
I guess this is an advise, and if so, it's worth listening to. Probably, Koku having worked with Mr Nketia before saw and experienced him as such. Besides, nobody is above advise. This is the time General mosquito needs such advise even more. If you ask, me my advise for Mr Nketia, I will suggest he should apologize where he err, hert or infringe on others in the name of competition/politics, be decorouse in his choice of words going forward and then rely & trust in God as the only Supreme/ just one who can enthroned and dethrone. Who's disturbing the nation?
Hahahaaaa, in what capacity did you threaten the ECG in Kumasi when lights suddenly went off at the Kumasi sports stadium in the presence of late president Atta Mills? I remember you said heads must roll. Today those ECG staff are still are post. Where are you now? Far far away from the presidency. If so called politicians in Ghana knew how pathetic political positions are they will humble themselves. Unfortunately they soon forget who and what they were before occupying those temporal political offices and allow arrogance, empty pride, greed, selfishness, inward looking to take the better part of them. A few years after losing power with all the goodies they have harvested you see them and it's like they are worse off than before. When you elbow everyone out to become, when there is no one to elbow out again, you will elbow yourself out.
