Ellen Ama Daaku, a member of the Communication team of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has advised the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to concentrate on getting their collation of results right.
"You've still not learnt your lessons...politics is not bugabuga, it's about science and data. You keep blaming the Electoral Commission but that's not necessary. The most important thing is to be serious on your collation and back your claims with evidence..." she stated on Peace FM's The Platform program.

Apropos of politics, not bugabuga, and referring to the inability of the NDC to gather and collate electoral data, I wish to make this clear observation and advise that the NDC should do away with the politics of mischief and baseless propuganda. That has apparently become its trademark. I believe and hope that, as we approach 2023, the NDC will keep its own counsel and recognize that, in a multi-party political system, the emphasis is on competing for the best policies. Ghana's political arena has made a remarkable improvement, and people are concerned about a credible political party that can deliver to improve their livelihoods rather than use mere propaganda to obtain political power. Such baseless political squabbling and polemics breed kleptocracy at the expense of accountability.
