Several celebrities graced the red carpet at the premiere of new movie “Familiar Strangers” produced by Ghanaian actress and Producer, Luckie Lawson for 7th Art Production, on Saturday evening December 17, 2011 at the plush new seaside Maya Cova restaurant, behind Omanye Home Art Gallery in La, Accra.
The night brought together soccer stars, movie stars from Ghana, Nigeria and other parts of Africa, Musician, Radio and Television Presenters and even politicians to watch the emotions packed and intriguing movie for the first time.
Some familiar faces spotted by Peacefmonline.com cameras includes; Member of Parliament for Okaikoi South and Communication Director for the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akomea, actress Yvonne Nelson, Juliet Ibrahim, Nikki Samonas, Zynnell Lydia Zuh and Kobi Rana.
Nollywood’s Halima Abubakar and actor Scott Robert represented from Nigeria even though beautiful Nollywood actress Chika Ike and Mr. Smooth Yemi Blaq also from Nigeria were expected to grace the occasion but for some reason they both could not make it.
Members of the cast Nana Ama McBrown, Prince David Osei, Roselyn Ngissah and others were also there. However, John Dumelo, who played the lead, was nowhere to be found.
Other celebrities were Wutah Kobby, Nigerian singer Riya, Rana and Nasara of Ghana’s Most Beautiful and international soccer star Samuel Inkoom also graced the event with their presence.
