Following the announcement of media mogul and Okay fm presenter Dr. Abeiku Santana as the main host of the BASS Awards Nominees Jam at the Accra Sports Stadium, the organizers of the Awards has announced Chris Attoh and Nana Kwame Osei Sarpong widely known as Nokus as the hosts of the Awards many ceremony.
Commenting on this development, Lawrence Asiamah-Hanson also known as Bulldog on behalf of the organizers stated that the choice of the two as the hosts of the main ceremony was based on their long standing relationship with Ghanaian music and entertainment having worked variously within the Ghanaian music and entertainment space, as well as their credentials as spectacular hosts of events of such nature.
Nokus in particular co-founded and promoted the ever popular Wednesday Reggae/Dancehall nites at Tawala for a longer time and that even makes a very suitable co-host of this event Bulldog added.
The Bass Awards main event comes off at the National theatre on 6th July, 2013 a day after the Nominees Jam. The main show just like the nominees Jam will also feature exciting performances from dancehall badboy Bandana, Kaakie, Samini, Stonebuoy, Black Rasta, Black Prophet as well as a super dancehall throwback that organizers are tight-lipped about.
