Popular Ghanaian musician, Guru, might be proud and at peace with himself now after his popular catch phrase Boys Abr3 made it to the Ghanaian parliament on Tuesday November 19th 2013 during the presentation of the National budget by Minister of Finance Honourable Seth Tekpeh.
Guru, who despite huge uproar by a cross section of Ghanaians including members of the Ghanaian parliament and the clergy stood firm to defend on all media platforms the use of Akayida in his popular song Boys Abr3? was on Tuesday honoured as his catch phrase Boys Abr3? which is now used to express the economic hardships of the youth in the Ghanaian society was on display on A4 sheets in the Ghanaian parliament to describe the budget presented.
It somehow sounds ironical when the same song which had at first been disregarded with its catch phrase Boys Abr3? was not only popular on the streets but even in the Ghanaian parliament.
