Amidst the heated political atmosphere in the country currently, actor Majid Michel has said most of our leaders are "professional manipulators".
According to his recent post on social media, it takes more than just winning a election to be a leader.
While some of his fellow celebrities are taking advantage of the political season by openly endorsing politicians and political parties, the "Agony of Christ" actor has a message for our leaders, and perhaps those who are hoping to be leaders.
Majid Michel wrote;
"True Leaders are more concerned about discovering a purpose to improve the life of humanity, that's more important than their personal ambition, so they sacrifice themselves to accomplish something for the greater good. We find that rarely these days. Most people we call Leaders are simply professional manipulators, and they are actually more concerned about their own promotion than promoting the people. A leader is born when a human discovers something more important than their personal ambition. Leadership is not something you pursue. it's something you discover. Leadership has nothing to do with you. it has everything to do with the people. Winning an election does not mean u are a Leader. it means you are a politician. if you are ordained as a pastor does not mean you can lead a church. LEADERSHiP is not a right. it's a privilege. And it's a privilege given to you by the followers. And if the followers don't know how to identify with good and effective Leaders, then we will continue to have mediocrity in Leadership. #LEADERSHiP @enginuzun"

OH REALLY??? SO WHEN PEOPLE PICK YOU OUT OF THE LOT AND SAY COME AND LEAD US, WHAT ARE YOU??? KING DAVID, KING SAUL AND THE REST OF THEM WERE ALL PICKED FROM OBSCURITY AND MADE LEADERS!!! HOW ELSE WILL A LEADER BE MADE IF HE DOES NOT WIN THE APPROVAL OF THE MAJORITY!? WARPED INTELLIGENCE. SOMETIMES SILENCE IS THE BEST OPTION IF YOU VENTURE OUT INTO PLACES YOU DON'T BELONG.
Interligent piece
..Spread the Gospel, the NPP (Elephant Fraternity) is one of the most biggest and influential groups in the world, and we assure this so called Lecturer (Abass Mohammed) that no matter what happens, even if the NPP is burnt down to ashes, it will rise again; just like the Phoenix! No individual or for that matter a group/party should underestimate the elephant fraternity. Our bond and strength comes not from the scale of our wealth or our intellectuals but our ideals and deep understanding of democracy (which we will defend and protect). The NPP is not just Nana Akuffo Addo, after him; 1000s will come again and 5000s will be there to lead the party to victory and our enduring policies and fight against corruption will still stand against the test of time and cynicism. Thats a good one. Keep it up. Bless you.
Nice message bro. We need people like you to lead the perishing youth. To be a leader does not mean you a superior than others. Jesus set this example for us in the Bible (Mark 9:35). Please our so called Leaders, the self-gain, is too much. Think about those who brought you to where you're now, and learn how to become humble and servant. Majid Plus for you!

Great piece Bro,keep it up
I am so impressed.....he's a deep thinker. As for the leaders we have today, the least said about them the better. All of them are making every effort to enrich themselves at the expense of the very people for whose sake they are "leaders". These leaders mostly find themselves in politics and in the churches. Recently I heard one of such leaders accusing someone of living in his fathers house at the age of 72. And I ask what is wrong with that? Is it because our society hails people who abuse the people to acquire undeserving wealth just so that they could show off? Majib, I have really added a degree of respect for you. My sincere advice to you is that never openly endorse any of the so called political leaders like some of your colleagues are doing..stay focused in your chosen carrier God bless you bro.
Nice Pieces
Thumps up Majid. Perfect description of most of the current crop of so called leaders.
