This year is definitely not a good year for Kumawood actor Wayoosi.
After he was taken ill and admitted at the hospital for several days and finally recovering the actor has been hit with a tragic news.
According to reports, Kumawood star Wayoosi has lost his 6-month old daughter, Blessing Osei Fremah. The little girl who was mostly called Nhyira died on Thursday, October 13.
Assistant FIPAG general secretary, Eugene Moratt who is also the spokesperson for the family confirmed the news to Zionfelix.net, hinting that the little girl died of drug overdose.
“He called me on Sunday to tell me that the child is sick telling me she was allergy to a drug. I told them to take her to Kufour Hospital because looking from how he was narrating it, the sickness was serious.
When I went there on Monday, she couldn’t open her eyes but when I went there yesterday (Wednesday, October 12), they had put oxygen on her trying to wash an unwanted medicine they gave her from the body.
So I asked the doctor what happened and he replied that they are investigating into the matter because they were given wrong medicine for the child’s sickness.
The dosage was also too much for the child. The six month old daughter was given 5ml instead of 2.5ml.
Wayoosi called me around 1am today crying”
The late Blessing Osei Fremah was christened four months ago in Kumasi.

May she RIP and may the parents be consoled. But those calling for legal action, lets note this,(1),was the drug prescribed by a clinician or an over the counter or self medication.(2),if it was prescribed by a clinician, and the child reacted (had allergy),why didn't the parents reported back to the clinician on time but had to wait till gotten out of hand and even waited upon the directive of the family PRO after a calling him.(3),Was the 5mg instead of the 2.5mg given to the child on parental discretion or prescribed by a clinician.

For those of you who do not want Ghanaian institutions to change and improve by implementing the law, efficiency and responsibility, these are the consequences of such poor institutional administration. A lovely life has been lost and no amount of tears can bring her back. I hope this will be a wake up call to you all and start ensuring that the right things are done at all levels of Ghanaian society, from the President right down to the Cleaner.
