Beautiful and versatile Ghanaian screen diva Nana Ama McBrown has finally started a charity project which is very dear to her heart.
After researching and leaning more about the deadly Cholera disease which is claiming the lives of millions of Africans, McBrown has hit the road with the McBrown Against Cholera Campaign first public interaction and education on the disease.
Her First stop was at the Madina Central Market in Accra, where she gathered thousands of people including market women, hawkers, head potters, and people in the street to entertain them and speak to them about the causes of Cholera and how it can be prevented.
The "I Do" actress used entertainment to send her message across to sink easily into the minds of the thousands gathered there. She appeared in a mobile toilet box in a dramatic way to attract the attention of everybody around and also advertise an affordable movable toilet box for deprived communities to use instead waiting for the government to provide toilet facilities.
According to Nana Ama, one of the major causes of Cholera especially in Ghana is open defecation . "So I have introduced very portable and affordable mobile toilet facility for communities with inadequate toilet and places where place of convince is virtually non-existent, to prevent open defecation and stop the spreading the disease".
She demonstrated how the mobile toilet facility is used and repeated the need for them stop open defecation and climaxed it all with the performance of the McBrown Against Cholera Campaign song titled "Cholera" by McBrown herself featuring Rapper Strongman.
Present to support the actress were; Singer Wutah Afriyie, Actor Papa Nii and officials of GAMA. She had one on one interaction with the crowd and took pictures with her fans. Next stop for her campaign will be announced in due course.
The McBrown Against Cholera Campaign is in partnership with Greater Accra Metropolitan Area (GAMA) Sanitation and Water Project for Ghana.

This Nnonsense Must Stop I understand there are some F00OLS out there who are trying to run a website and in their bid to get website traffic they always published lies. They started by saying Kyeiwaa is dead, then Abedi Pele, then Ex-President Kufuor, then Amakye Dede and now Alhaji Gurusah. This must be investigated by the police and the Ghana Media Board or whatever to bring closure. These F000OLS must be arrested. Ghana Police please act.
