Record-breaker, jinx-breaker and trendsetter, Joe Mettle is on a higher ground, just days after winning the ultimate award at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
The ‘Artiste of the Year’ winner is already out with a new banging single to celebrate his memorable win, which is also prepped for the Easter celebration.
The new single, ‘Yesu Edi Nkunim’ (Jesus’ won victory) is a thanksgiving song – giving God all the praise and thanks for the good things he’s done.
Joe Mettle, who also won two other awards on the night (Best Male Vocalist & Best Gospel Artist) has rebuffed any talk that, the song was produced knowing very well he was going to win the award.
He has stated that, the song was recorded before nominations were released for the 2017 VGMA.
‘Yesu Adi Nkunim’ is on all major online music portals.

Now the so called workers for God are working for the World's recognition. See all these so called Gospel Musicians of today, all they care about is making a hit, money & awards. I saw one Ohemaa Mercy's Live Show and it was so so pathetic how she was copying everything in Lucky Dube's Live in Concert Show in 1993/94. She wore Military Camouflage & was jumping and shouting exactly like Lucky did in that show. The most sad aspect of it was that the audience for that show not even the youth. It was some Women Fellowship Group. Lord Have Mercy. I know they will say we want to do that to win souls but ask if any of them had ever make any Alter Call in any show. Hypocrites!!!!
They All act like they don't like the '' HYPE '' You won and released a song to '' Market'' your brand . Well i believe in God and not Mankind coz they all have a '' PRICE '' give money to the Poor and see his reaction . Fake world we live in
