Kumawood actor and entertainer, born Samuel Nana Yaw Dabo known popularly as Yaw Dabo has revealed that even though he is counted among the shortest men in Ghana but he feels very proud of it.
Yaw Dabo speaking in an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on the Delay Show, disclosed that at the age of 15 years he realised he needed to accept himself just the way he was because there was no way he could get extra height.
He also told Deloris Frimpong Manso, the host the show if he had been tall he wouldn’t have gotten the opportunities he has been getting now.
“Everything happens for a reason. I don’t feel ashamed because of my size. I’m really happy about how it turned out…
“I’m funny so people never despised me because of my size. Maybe I would not have made strides in my real sized that I won’t grow a career if I were tall,” he told Delay.
