Nigerian gospel music star and songwriter, Tim Godfrey will be in Ghana this year.
Tim Godfrey will be headlining the Africa Gospel Awards Festival (AGAFEST) in March.
The unique music composer will join other gospel artistes both locally and internationally as the awards event recognizes and celebrates talents and hardworking gospel acts, ministry, mission projects, outreach and evangelism, charity works and many more works related to the Gospel across Africa.
Tim Godfrey is known for composing hit songs such as Nara, Agidigba, So Good, Na You Be God and Imela among others.
This will be his first time on the shores of Ghana.
The maiden edition of AGAFEST will come off on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the Fantasy Dome, Trade Fair.
The first edition covers four (4) African countries - Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa and Kenya, and will encompass other African countries in subsequent editions.
It is a two-day event with the first day featuring an Africa Gospel Business Summit on the first day and the Awards ceremony on Saturday which will be the second day.
Artistes nominated for this year's AGAFEST include Sonnie Badu, Diana Hamilton, Patience Nyarko, Joe Mettle, Nathaniel Bassey, Sinach and many other gospel musicians and groups, both contemporary and old.
