Mother of actress and Instagram model, Rosemond Brown, popularly called Akuapem Poloo, has pleaded with the Judge presiding over her daughter’s court case to temper justice with mercy.
Akuapem Poloo is currently in Police custody after an Accra Circuit Court remanded her to await judgement on her pending nudity case.
It could be recalled that Child Rights International filed a lawsuit against Akuapem Poloo after her nude picture publication on social media last year.
The Judge, on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, convicted the actress and will deliver a sentence on Friday, April 16.
The actress’ mother, in an interview with Akwasi Aboagye on Peace FM’s “Entertainment Review”, shed uncontrollable tears as she begged the Judge to have mercy on Akuapem Poloo.
What is even more worrying is that Akuapem Poloo’s son has been traumatized by his mother’s conviction, the mother further revealed.
She asked the Judge to reconsider her ruling.

so some have people to speak for them no matter the issue. who will speak for me and likes of us. all and all of a sudden a mother pops up eh despite all that this lady did and will do to plead. when not sentenced koraaaaaaa there is a hushtag to free her. watching what will happen just 90 days which she must serve 2/3 two thirds or so, i stand to be corrected. trauma of child and mother, separation problem eh some ghanaians. no wonder
I share the pain of the mother, because no mother will like to see her child in jail. But is she saying she was not aware of all the nasty things her daughter was doing all this while? And for that matter advised or warned her about the consequences? I even wonder what at all has catapulted Akuapim Polo into the so called celebrity status.
***barred word*** woman you see the result of not bringing up your child well ? many times most mothers around Accra and its environs don't care about their children well leaving them the enter in prostitution for survival, The laws of our land should be allowed to work so as to bring sanity into the system.
