Nii Noi Thompson says his acrimonious exit from Hearts of Oak has made him a better person.
The Ghanaian champions parted company with the 48-year-old last week after he fell out with head coach Ayman El Yamani. Thompson guided Hearts of Oak to their 20th premier league title last term despite recording a single win and many draws in over seven matches.
The former Chelsea of Bechem coach is cold shouldered by the Hearts fans despite being in charge of their last seven games to win a 21st domestic title last term. "What I have gone through at Hearts has made me a stronger person and tells me that I have to think about a future return to the club or elsewhere,"Thompson told Ghanasoccernet.com
"It is unfortunate things happened this way but I guess sometimes some of these things happen in the game and so I am not perturbed. "The coach never respected my views at the club ever since he took over and I thought that was not right.
"Management were aware of the behaviour of the coach and didnt do anything about it and so at a point I realised I couldnt take it any longer."
