English side Blackpool are set to release their Ghanaian goalkeeper Richard Kingson at the end of the season on Sunday.
Reports in the English media claim the decision has already been taken on the Black Stars shot stopper.
Ghana international Kingson joined Blackpool on a short-term deal last September.
Kingson had mixed fortunes this season and by the middle of the season the Guardian newspaper rated him as the best goalkeeper.
But the team capitulated in the latter parts of the season and he conceded many goals which could have led to the reports in the English newspapers about his future.
Relegation for Blackpool also means they will be unable to pay his huge salary in the Championship.
Kingson will not lack suitors especially in the French top-flight where his agent Fabian Pivateau is well connected.
