Ghana youngster Ishmael Yartey is set to make his Swiss League debut this weekend for Servette FC after he was granted a work permit on Tuesday, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
The impressive winger will boost Joao Alvesďż˝ side for the crack encounter against Young Boys on Sunday.
The 21-year-old, on loan from Benfica, has already missed the opening two league games and is poised to taste action.
�The coach told me that my work permit has been confirmed and myself and the coach plus some officials will go for it tomorrow. I�m extremely happy because I want to play and the fans here want to see me in the league,� Yartey told GHANAsoccernet.com
�They watched me in pre-season and they want to see me in action. So what can I say? I will give my all on Sunday and we will see what Allah will do,� he added.
Yartey was a member of the Ghana Under-17 team which finished fourth at the Fifa World Cup in Korea 2007.
