Ex-Ghana youth goalie Ben Owu claims he has been handed a two-week attachment at German giants Bayern Munich.
The move facilitated by compatriot Sammy Kuffour will see the 36-year-old stay with the German outfit for the period to enhance his knowledge of goalkeeping.
I will be leaving for German for an attachment with Bayern Munich. I am grateful to Sammy Kuffuor for playing an influential role in getting such an opportunity, Owu said
I hope to learn the modern trend in goalkeeping so I will become a better goalkeepers trainer when I come back home.
Owu joined big spenders Medeama SC as goalkeepersďż˝ trainer at the beginning of the season.
He has previously worked in the same capacity at former Ghana top flight side King Faisal.
Owu was a member of the Ghana Under-17 squad that won the Fifa World Cup in 1991 in Italy.
